from Day One

Digital Ciphers was founded in 2012 by Kyle Eve with a clear belief: most digital agencies were building websites that looked good in screenshots but didn’t move needles. We set out to prove them wrong.

Over 14 years and 180+ projects, we’ve grown into a tight-knit team — headquartered in Canada with a world-class development team in Europe. We’ve worked with Fortune 500 multinationals and scrappy founders alike, and that breadth gives us an unusual perspective: the discipline of enterprise work, the agility of a boutique studio.

We’re not the biggest agency you’ll talk to. That’s intentional. We stay lean so every client gets senior attention, honest advice, and work we’re genuinely proud to put our name on.

The People Behind the Work

Digital Ciphers is owned and managed by Kyle Eve and Kerim Kalamujić, who lead a 15-person team across Canada and Europe. No account executives padding hours, no juniors learning on your dime — just the people doing the actual work.

Kyle Eve

Owner & Managing Director

Kyle founded Digital Ciphers in 2012 and still runs it day to day. He has an honors degree in economics and political science and an IT certificate from the University of Windsor, so he tends to look at a website the way an owner would: what it needs to do for the business, what it will cost, and whether it's worth it. Clients usually work with Kyle at the start of a project, when the goals and scope get set, and he stays involved until it's live.

Kerim Kalamujić

Project Manager & CTO

Kerim joined Digital Ciphers in 2017 and runs project management and development. He studied electrical engineering and telecommunications at the University of Sarajevo, then worked as a software engineer at ASA Group and as IT director at Triland Development. He also founded Mozilla Community BiH. Kerim splits his time between Sarajevo and Los Angeles, so he's around during working hours for our clients in the US and our developers in Europe. If you have a technical question, he's usually the one answering it.
