Phase One

Discovery.

Before we design or build a single thing, we need to understand your business inside out. This phase is the most important investment we make together.

Duration
1–3
Days, depending on project complexity
Deliverables
  • Discovery questionnaire completed
  • Stakeholder kickoff call (2 hrs)
  • Competitor analysis report
  • Audience personas (2–3)
  • Project scope document
  • Signed timeline & milestones

Discovery is where we do the hard thinking so the rest of the project can move fast. We dig into your goals, your market, your customers, and your existing digital presence. We map what's working, what isn't, and what opportunities nobody has spotted yet. By the end, we have a strategy document that drives every decision that follows.

Stakeholder Kickoff

A structured 2-hour session with your key stakeholders where we establish goals, success metrics, constraints, and non-negotiables. We ask the questions your previous agency never did.

Competitor Audit

We analyze 3–5 of your key competitors — their positioning, messaging, UX patterns, SEO footprint, and where they're vulnerable. You'll know exactly where your opportunity is.

Audience Definition

We build 2–3 detailed user personas based on your customer data, interviews (where available), and market research. Every design decision from here is made for these people.

Discovery Brief

The output of phase one is a clear, written brief — covering goals, audience, positioning, technical stack recommendation, and the KPIs we'll be held accountable to throughout.

What you can expect: A dedicated account manager assigned to your project from day one. A clear brief that you sign off on before we move to phase two. No phase two starts without your explicit approval.

Phase Two

Strategy.

Structure before aesthetics. We map the skeleton of your digital product so every page, flow, and interaction is intentional before a single color is chosen.

Duration
3–4
Days. Longer for complex web apps
Deliverables
  • Full site map
  • User flow diagrams
  • Low-fidelity wireframes
  • Content structure map
  • CTA hierarchy document
  • Client sign-off before Phase 3

Most agencies skip straight to design. We don't. Wireframing in low-fidelity before adding visual design means we can iterate on structure and logic ten times faster — and cheaper — than after polished screens have been created. This phase prevents the most expensive mistakes.

Site Architecture

We design the full page structure and navigation logic before anything else. Every page gets a defined purpose, a primary CTA, and a clear place in the conversion funnel.

User Flow Mapping

We trace the paths your target users will take — from landing to conversion. Every decision point, every friction zone, and every drop-off risk is identified and addressed at this stage.

Wireframe Sketches

Black and white, no branding — just structure. We wireframe every key page at mobile and desktop breakpoints. You'll review and annotate directly in Figma before we add a single color.

Content Structure

We define what content goes on every page, in what order, and why. If you need content writing support, this is where we scope it. No design starts without a content plan.

What you can expect: A Figma file with all wireframes, shareable with your whole team. One round of feedback collected and incorporated before we close this phase. Sign-off is required before any design work begins.

Phase Three

Design.

Now the visual work begins. With structure locked, we apply brand, color, typography, and motion — producing polished, clickable prototypes that feel real before a line of code is written.

Duration
5–7
Days, including three review rounds
Deliverables
  • Full hi-fidelity Figma designs
  • Mobile & desktop breakpoints
  • Clickable interactive prototype
  • Component library
  • Design tokens & style guide
  • 3× structured review rounds

This is where the product comes to life visually. We work from your approved wireframes to create full high-fidelity designs — every state, every hover, every responsive breakpoint. We present our design rationale behind every decision so feedback is grounded in objectives, not personal taste.

Visual Design

Full hi-fidelity screens in Figma at both mobile and desktop breakpoints. Every page, every component, every interactive state. Brand-consistent, conversion-focused, visually sharp.

Interaction Design

Micro-animations, hover states, transitions, and scroll behavior are all specified in the prototype. You'll experience the product, not just see it, before we build anything.

Component Library

We build a full design system — buttons, forms, cards, navs, modals — so every element is consistent and the handover to development is clean and unambiguous.

Review Rounds

Three structured rounds of feedback, each with a 48-hour turnaround. Comments left directly in Figma. We track every change so nothing gets lost and nothing gets re-argued.

What you can expect: A shareable Figma prototype you can click through and share with stakeholders. All design files are yours at handover — organized, labeled, and production-ready. No code starts until designs are signed off.

Phase Four

Build.

Design approved, code starts. We write clean, documented, production-grade code that matches the Figma file to the pixel — and performs under real-world conditions.

Duration
8–10
Days. Complex builds may be longer
Deliverables
  • Production-ready codebase
  • CMS setup & configured
  • Cross-browser QA testing
  • Accessibility audit (WCAG 2.1)
  • Lighthouse scores 90+ all categories
  • Staging environment for review

Development is where precision matters most. We build on a staging environment so you can review a fully functional version of your site before it goes anywhere near production. Every interaction, every edge case, every device — tested before the launch call is even booked.

Production Code

We write semantic, accessible, documented code. No bloated page builders, no mystery dependencies. The codebase is yours — clean enough that any developer can pick it up on day one.

Quality Assurance

Manual QA across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, iOS, and Android. We test at 6 screen breakpoints, check every form, every link, every animation, every error state — before you see a single page.

Performance Optimization

Images compressed, JS deferred, fonts preloaded, CDN configured. We don't launch until Core Web Vitals are green and Lighthouse performance is above 90. Speed is a feature, not an afterthought.

Client Staging Review

You get access to the staging environment for a final walkthrough. We record a Loom video tour highlighting every section, so your team can review asynchronously without scheduling pressure.

What you can expect: A private staging link, a Loom walkthrough video, and a structured feedback sheet. We fix all flagged issues before the go-live date is confirmed. We do not launch until you are satisfied.

Phase Five

Launch.

Go-live is a milestone, not the finish line. We manage the deployment end-to-end, train your team on everything, and stay close for the first 30 days to make sure everything performs.

Duration
2–4
Days to launch + 30-day support
Deliverables
  • Production deployment
  • DNS & hosting configured
  • Analytics & tracking setup
  • CMS training session (recorded)
  • Full documentation handover
  • 30-day post-launch support

Launch day is carefully choreographed. We manage the DNS cutover, confirm redirects, verify tracking, and do a live post-launch check within 2 hours of go-live. Then we hand you the keys — with full documentation and a recorded training session so your team is never dependent on us for day-to-day updates.

Deployment & Go-Live

We handle the full deployment — server configuration, DNS propagation, SSL, redirects, and a post-launch audit within hours of going live. No surprises, no downtime windows that run long.

Analytics Configuration

GA4, Search Console, conversion tracking, heatmaps (Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity), and any CRM or ad platform integrations are all set up and verified before we hand over access.

Team Training

A recorded Loom walkthrough of your CMS — how to add pages, update content, manage media, and handle common tasks. Your team can watch it as many times as they need, forever.

Documentation Package

A full handover document: tech stack, login credentials (via password manager), hosting details, third-party service accounts, and a maintenance guide. Everything your team or future agency needs.

What you can expect: A dedicated Slack channel (or email thread, your preference) stays open for 30 days post-launch for bug fixes and questions. After that, we offer flexible retainers for ongoing support, SEO, and growth work.

Project Timeline

From Brief to
Live in 4 Weeks

On average, projects ship in about 4 weeks from signed brief. Complex builds or large content volumes take longer — we'll tell you upfront, not after we've started.

Questions

Process FAQs

Everything you need to know about how we work before the first call.

Book a Call

Not much. You’ll fill out our discovery questionnaire before the kickoff call — that covers the basics. For the design phase, we’ll need your logo and any brand assets (colors, fonts). If you don’t have these, we can include branding in scope. Content (copy, images) is ideally provided by you, but we can help with copywriting if needed.

We need your sign-off at four checkpoints: end of Discovery (the brief), end of Strategy (wireframes), end of Design (final designs), and end of Build (staging review). Each one should take 1–2 hours of your time. Beyond that, we’ll check in weekly with a short progress update — no lengthy meetings unless you want them.

Scope changes happen — that’s normal. When they do, we write a short change request document that covers the additional work, cost, and any impact to the timeline. You approve it in writing before we proceed. Nothing gets added to the invoice without your explicit sign-off first.

Usually, yes. We’ll discuss your existing stack during discovery. If there are significant technical constraints, we’ll flag them before the project starts. We’re platform-flexible and have experience across Next.js, Webflow, Shopify, WordPress, and custom frameworks.
